E-mail newsletters

Why do I automatically sign up for e-mail newsletters that I know I'll never read? It's like I get seized by the moment and say, "Yes! I will want to read about this from 25 different sites at least once a week!" And 110 e-mails in my inbox later, I want to scream. Stop the madness!

Oh goodness, me too! I don't know why it seems to be an unconcious compulsion, I've had to change my email address twice because I just couldn't deal with it! I guess I thought with 200 newsletters in my inbox the idea of emailing every one individually to cancel seemed way to daunting.

I have about 80 e-mails in my inbox, because I just don't have the energy.
